The West London Alliance has set up a number of Dynamic Purchasing System / Dynamic Purchasing Vehicle (DPS/ DPV). A DPS/ DPV is a completely electronic system, and is an "open market" to provide access to a pool of suppliers for a number of services. The purpose of these systems is to enable the West London Alliance to encourage competition, deliver value for money and engage suppliers to maximise supply.
Dynamic Purchasing System for Care Home and Supported Living Placements for Adults
The purpose of this procurement is to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System for Care Home and Supported Living Placements, enabling the call-off of Placements for eligible adult social care users. The DPS is an entirely electronic system and call-offs will be made through an e-brokerage (or similar electronic) system. The new DPS is due to commence 1st September 2016 and will initially last 4 years (with the option to extend for up to another 4 years).
